Summer Roundup

I have been pretty busy.

Dreamdate Darcy came over for a sleep over.

I have been hanging out at the pool. What you see next may come as a bit of a shock to you. Sometimes when dogs are dead they stuff them and put them in glass cases.

These pictures were taken by my sister Claudia in England.

I am not quite sure what to make of it. I did not know any of these dogs I am glad to say.

Then my sister came to visit from England.

Then I went to Jasper's house.

This is me when I got home after two days at the animal hospital which is where I went when I ate a teeny weenie bit of trail-mix that they left on the ottoman and I ate it.*

They looked in my ears too.

Last Sunday Knutty came over.

Then I went to the park and met up with Biggie and Buddah

and Milan that is the only pit bull I am allowed to play with.

This is me and a graffiti cat. Other than that,  all is good and I am lying on the floor trying to stay cool.

I hope you are having a good summer.

* Totally my fault. Some dogs have very serious reactions to raisins. Some are not affected...Buster was not affected at all but was on extra fluids for two days...oh dear!

Lazy Blogger Says Hi!

I have not written my blog for a long time since nothing has happened.

Mum went to England and now she has come back and they have put the pool out in the dog park. I went in up to my ankles, as you can see.

Then I shook my face and my cheeks flapped.

Here is Clyde with his tongue out looking merry.

This is a new puppy called Gus who looks like Skippy the dog that was in my family before me that they talk about a lot. He died when he was very old.

This is Goliath with his tongue out a bit...

and a bit more.

Benny and Jannsy have their mouths shut which is a good thing.

I do not know if you have ever seen an Irish wolf hound. If you have not, now you can see it.

One day, just after I got my hair cut, we went shopping to a special butcher's.

Me and Knutty had to wait outside.

I was sent some shampoo and conditioner* in the mail. It smells really good. It is lucky that I am the sort of dog that likes water. I do not know if I am interested in being clean or not.

I am sorry I have not written for such a long time.

Smells good enough for humans and is totally natural. Buster and I thank you very much!

April News from Buster

Hello everyone. This is my news:

This is a dog that lives around here called Penny.

As you can see she looks a lot like me. There are not many dogs with fur exactly like me.

To enrich my cultural education I am sometimes taken to art galleries as part of my walk. As Mum says, this is killing two birds with one stone. I did not see any birds or even stones.

This is me at another art gallery.

This is another person taking a picture of her dog in a gallery too. He would probably prefer to be outside...

like when we go to the park and meet Kathleen who has Darcy like we did last Saturday.

Anyway, after the winter my fur was looking fuzzy.

Then I got a sore paw and had to go to the vet where they put the cone on. Mum took it off before we got home even. Anyway the vet said I could have my hair cut the next day so I did.

This is the new improved me. And my paw is better. If you look carefully, you can see one of my nose-paintings on the window. This is not art that lasts a long time because Dad washes it off so I can do new ones.

I hope you are having a good spring.

Spring, Maybe...

Can you believe it snowed yesterday?

I looked out of the window and saw

it looked like Christmas, but it is not Christmas.

I had to wear my boots outside.

Now it is not quite so cold I have been to the park to hang out with Fowler

and Patrick.

This is me and Charlotte

and me and Oliver.

This is Milan and Elly. Milan wants to jump on Elly and they make him stop.

This is me and a cool dog that I met this morning.

She has three legs, but is nice and friendly. Mostly dogs have four legs.

This is a good picture of Charlotte looking beautiful.

This is me at home. You can tell I need my hair cut. I am very fuzzy.

This is my elephant having a drink. When it was very cold and boring, my family did things to amuse me.

This is me and Dad in the evenings.

If you do not have a dog and you need one, they sometimes put a truck on our street with dogs that need homes so you could get one there.*

Anyway, that is all that is going on around here and the sun is shining and I'm due to go out.

I hope you are having fun.

A Very Long, Cold Winter. We get Cabin Fever.

I am depressed.

The weather is very bad and cold. It is the coldest of all the time I have been alive.

This is the paper and what it says is true.

So mostly I sit in my bed

or lie in Mum and Dad's bed

or sit on the sofa.

Then I look out of the window hoping so see someone I know.

I ask Dad if I can go out, but when I go out

all the snow is grubby

and ugly and icy.

Yesterday Knutty came over and he wasn't very cheerful either. On Valentine's day I saw Charlotte out of the window but we did not go for a walk together. It is going to snow again tomorrow. Mum says -   well, at least it isn't Boston.
I do not know or care about Boston.
I have never been there.

I am not having any great thoughts lately. Nor is my mum.

She made a cookie but she would not let me eat it because of the chocolate eyes.

I did not get to eat the cookie Margaret decorated either.

I hope you are having a better time than me.
