Things that Have been Going On by Me

This is me and Dad. We are both smiling.

When we went for a walk Mum said,
"Look at the wisteria, Buster! Look at the lilac!"

Then we met Dozer. He was adopted too.
He came from North Shore Animal League.
Mum thinks he is very handsome. Maybe more handsome than me.

Mum put a sheet on the chair I sit in because she said I was wrecking it.
This is one of my toys. It came from a box under the bed.
It belonged to Skippy a long time ago.

This is me on the red carpet at the movie theater.

The Lion, the Dalmation and Dad

This lion lives on 22nd Street. I hid under the bushes when I saw him.
He must have been very bad to get turned into stone.

I have got spots but this dog has better ones.
When a little girl said I looked like a hyena, Mum said not to take any notice.
It is still too hot. Hotter than it has been in my life.

The children in Pinwheel Park play in the sprinkler.

All I got is an ice cube.

Dad says I'm not such a good dancer as Skippy was
but I'm learning.

This is me and Dad.
I like it when people are lower down than me.

Water and Stuff

Mum has put a bath mat under my water dish.

When I went for a walk I saw a dog looking out of the window.
He looked very sad.
He was there on the way back too.

I saw human puppies in Clement Moore Park.

Then I came home and put my foot in my water and splashed it all over.
I did this lots of times.

Monsters and a Really, Really Good Present

When I go out at night I look like a monster.
See how fat and blue I am.
People should be scared of me.

Yesterday my mum bought me a present because I was good.
It is like a tennis ball with four legs.
It squeaks and squeaks and make me yip with joy.

This is a very big picture of my toy.

A Big Day

I went for a long walk with Mum and Dad. We crossed 9th Avenue
and 10th Avenue and went to the art gallery where Dad
shows his pictures. Everyone made a big fuss of me.

Then the best bit. We went to the dog park where the big dogs go.
When I looked in I saw a big dog on a rock.

I was a bit scared going in the door.
They came to check me out.

This is me and Lazarus who would not share his ball with me.
I ran around a lot. I did not sit on the bench like
Mum and Dad said old Skippy did.

Things I am Learning

I am learning how to greet my friends.
This is also a security check.

I did not know trees were pink and had leaves.
This is new to me.

Most people grow plants in their gardens.
This family were trying stones.

Maybe they put the bleeding hearts behind wire to stop
them getting out on to the street.

This is the look I give when Mum says, "Hey, you, that's not your house."

Monday

This is a squirrel up a tree by my house.
He is eating a nut.

This is another squirrel looking at me.
I want to chase him and maybe bite him.
There are some birds too, which go:
chatter chatter chatter.

When I am not allowed to chase squirrels, I sometimes sit down.
I refuse to walk.

Here is me sitting on someone else's stoop on 22nd Street.
I do not have a stoop.
If I lived here I would have a motorbike too.

This is me meeting Frankie.
She is a French bulldog and what Mum thinks is a
'suitable' friend for me.
Quite a lot of the time I sit on the ottoman. (See below).

Sunday

A lot of blossoms have fallen off the trees.

Mum put my rabies tag on my collar. Now I jingle a lot.
I still have my adoption tag on.
Mum must order a real one with
BUSTER
on it in big writing.

This was outside a pet shop on Sullivan Street.
I would be scared if I met a dog as big as this.

My mum likes this picture of me.
If you enlarge it you can see my cartoon whiskers.

My Friends

This is me and my Dad.
Morning is good because the sun shines in
and Dad gives me a taste of his English muffin.

This is me and Scarlett. She is very beautiful.
She has a pink dress.

She is as lovely as a cupcake.

Sometimes she ignores me and I pretend I don't care.

Daisy is nice except you cannot see her expression very well.
Mum likes her Mum and they talk and are boring.

This is Skippy. She is old.
Sometimes her mum takes her to the park in a stroller.
At least she goes outside to sit in the sun.
Today I got a present from Daryl.
It squeaks.

I Have Ear Mites

I was itching my ears.

Dad said I should go to the doctor.

The lady held me and the doctor put Q-Tips in my ears.
I have ear mites.

While Mum was paying the BILL, I met a hound. He is 11.

IanDownTheHall

My friend IanDownTheHall came over and he stopped his clean up duty
so Dad could show him pictures of us on the computer.

Then we got rambunctious and Ian had to go home.
We ran up and down the hall a bit and were noisy.
Mum wondered if the other neighbors would complain
but we think they were out.
