It is the opening of the art season in Chelsea.
This is Debris Field #31
As you can tell, I am not so confident about it as some of my other pieces.
Sometimes artists get discouraged when they are not praised enough.
Anyway, Mum and I were walking to Dog Park when
we saw some cool sculptures going to a show.
This is a man and his dog.
This is the dog. It is all made of pencils. An excellent medium.
I am not provided with pens and pencils since
the incident of the pen on the bed cover.
I mostly use my teeth.
I got an award from Twix.
Yes, I am an AWESOME dog.
I would like to thank Trix and my manager and all
my loyal followers for allowing me to get where I am today.
(I am on the sofa chewing my stick.)
I would like to pass this award on to Hero and Sedona.
Love from
Buster
Congrats on your award, Buster! Very cool!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your art work, too. ;-)
Paz
P.S. Ummm... Why is Fatty evil?
Fatty is evil because she laughs at me and taunts me and goes
ReplyDeletegibber gibber gibber.....
Creating art is its own reward Buster...And I love Debris Field #31 - a nice combination of objective and non-objective, eye catching contrast between darks and lights, great lines and it makes a powerful statement. Your individual elements are so beautifully juxtaposed as well....
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your well deserved award.
Pat, pat.
Buster! You need a squirrel interpreter sweet boy - "gibber gibber gibber" means "I love you you are so beautiful". I know, I studied Squirrel in high school for 2 years. You come to me when Fatty says something you don't understand, ok?
ReplyDeleteAnd you don't need pens and pencils - you are a very good tooth-artist. That is your best medium, tooth.
Congratulations on your award. Be sure to tell Fatty ;) - she never gets any awards I bet.
You so deserve all the awards you get
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!
I am not really a fan of debris art, it's so ... well, it's so messy
and I think it is beneath your talents
my son used to do pen and pencil art - he used walls as his canvas
I too retired those tools
your Mum is smart and is your best agent, always listen to her
Hi Buster,
ReplyDeleteOn the contrary, I think that Debris Field #31 is a well staged artistic study of the tree in several forms and is accented by the contrast of a synthetically adorned chew toy that has been chewed in the same manner as the tree detritus, thus bringing together the theme. Well done. The award is well deserved.
I just chew on Mommy's bedspread. I'm a beginning artist.
Hugs and Bwwwwwfs from Emma
Buster- congratulations on your award- you make me smile everytime I see you have a new post.
ReplyDeleteFatty has a relative in Kansas that is also evil-he continually torments my dogs until they MUST GO OUTSIDE to chase him away. My dogs are not pleasant to be around when the MUST GO OUTSIDE. My dogs are very close to knocking the door down themselves when they MUST GO OUTSIDE.
Hi Buster, Does your new award taste like wood? Does it squeek?I heard my person say "uh oh" when she saw your new work...but I like your title better.
ReplyDeleteDexter
Thanks so much, Buster! That's so nice of you.
ReplyDeleteDon't doubt your artistic ability, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this beholder thinks you're a genius :-)
Your pal,
Sedona
Everything about this makes me laugh!
ReplyDeleteBuster, I am so glad you like your award. You soooo deserve it. If I woulda been that close to fatty she wouldn't be around any more! And I woulda known what squirrel tastes like!
ReplyDeleteHas your mom ever given you bully sticks? I used to make all kinds of art when I was a pup til mom found something that took me a while to chew. Tell your mom she can email me or leave a comment if she needs some tips on your artwork.
Have a great weekend, Buster!
Snuggles,
Twix
Buster....You da MAN! You always make me smile! Nice of you to remember to thank everyone after receiving your award. :o)
ReplyDeleteHello Buster,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your award!
Days are getting much cooler here ... hoping that you will still have some summery days for splashing in the pool.
Pretty soon you will be able to explore another season. It is called autumn or fall. I think that you will be inspired by it.
Best wishes.
Thanks Buster for the award!
ReplyDeleteYour art work is fascinating... even without pens and pencils. Please don't get discourage, we really enjoy each piece of your creative art.
Licks, hero
