This are my friends in the snow.
They are Biggie and Flash and Benny.
Do you want to see something funny?
This is Benny with regular ears.
This is Benny with up ears.
This is Benny with one up and one down.
Biggie's mum made him wear his coat.
My mum made me wear boots. I look silly but I played anyway.

Note from Mum: silly boots prevent chemical 'ice-melt', used on sidewalks, from burning paws.

I think your snow boots are wonderful, not silly at all. Very practical - who would have thought about chemical damage to paws? Lucky your mum knew about it. May be she should knit you a vest....
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, dear Buster!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you can walk in those boots. I bought boots for my dogs once and they refused to take another step till I took them off. They won. I took them off. *sigh*
Paz
chemical 'ice-melt'??
ReplyDeletei had no idea!
:-0
we do not have that in florida
but starting tomorrow morning
we
just
might...
Urf Buster, Biggie has a cool pocket on his suit- probably for biscuits...He probably does not know it is there because his eyes can not look there. Your boots are great- wish I had some but we have not had much snow this time. I like snow. My brother is sick so he can not play with me, he is useless and can not do much of anything at the moment. Stay warm and well or you might end up like my brother, all limp and gooey...

So...did the new boots make you dance? I feel like dancing when I get new boots. Your friend Benny has VERY talented ears. His coat is stylish, but I like your rough fur coat even though it doesn't have pockets.
ReplyDeleteHello Buster,
ReplyDeleteI am very glad that your mom is taking care of your feet, or do you call them paws? No matter what they are called, it is good to take care of them.
Is it difficult to walk with those boots on? How many walks have you taken with them on so far?
Are you hoping for lots more snow in the New Year?
What do you think about the red and green colors of the Empire State Building? Is that your favorite combination of colors for the top lights of that building? Just asking you as an artist.
Best wishes.
Those boots are a very good idea, Buster. Besides you look quite handsome in them!
ReplyDeleteWe love your blue boots Buster, you look very handsome in them!!

Hi Buster! My mom & dad read your blog all the time. They tell me all about you and your friends. I live in Brooklyn and hope one day to play with you in your favorite park. I always want to write you, but I am usually too busy biting my favorite toy. However, today I saw your picture with the same silly boots my parents make me wear. They say they will protect my paws, but they are annoying. I guess they have our best interests in mind, right? I hope you enjoyed the snow. I did! ~ Maggie.
ReplyDeleteI love your boots! very sleek and athletic, like an Olympian
ReplyDeleteyour friends are wonderful
Great photos, Buster!
ReplyDeleteI like your boots and I see that it's a protection to your paws.

Thank you for dropping by, and how very nice to meet Buster and friends. I'm glad Buster has the boots (a beautiful blue!), salt slush is very hard on the paws. We (Tippy is my girl) also use a product called Invisible Boot, as a back up.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year

ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE Benny's ears! He made me laugh out loud.
Happy New Year, Buster! The snow covered dog park looks very beautiful... and so are all the covered up doggies. You look really cute in those blue socks.

ReplyDeleteThat's very wise of your mewmie to protect your paws. We think it would take some getting used to, like walking in high heels for a human!
