The Red Thing

This was the other day.

Mum went into a shop and me and Knutty waited outside.
It was a cake shop, but she did not get me anything.

Today there was a red thing at the park. It was like a ball except it had feet and squeaked.
Myrtle wanted it too.

I liked it very much. I did not want anyone else to have it, not even Biggie.

I thought Sasha was going to sneak up and grab it.

So I hung on to it and did not let Flash have it either.
Then Myrtle got it.
After a while I went home.

I hope you are having a good day.

love
from

Buster

  1. Wow, that's much better than the usual sticks you find in parks!

  2. Looks like you hit the jackpot on that red bit of squeakyness. Staying above the crowd is a good way to defend your prize. Sorry the red thing didn't make it home. Maybe Mum is glad she won't have to listen to lots of squeaky, though.

  5. No cake? That is terrible!!! Maybe you could ask your mom to get you one of those at the pet store. I've seen them there before. Buster, you are just the cutest thing!!!! My mom says she just wants to squeeze you tight.

Buster, I'm glad you were able to hold onto the red thing for so long. I bet if your mum would have bought you some cake you would have had the extra energy to keep it even longer.

  8. It is red and mine... and it squeaks even better !

I tried to post on your "The World Examining Works" blog and couldn't... I am sure the problem is on the "comcast" internet side.
but when I read your post I heard "The Twlight Zone" theme in the background.

  9. I've seen dogs go mental over those things..

and eat the squeak out of it.

Luckily Baxter does not lower himself to such frivolity.
