The Rest of my Week

The other day, before it got cold again, Scout came to the park.

She is pretty big, but she is sometimes shy when there are lots of dogs.
She mostly likes me.

There was a very little puppy that liked Scout a lot and Scout was not scared of it.

Their sizes are quite different.

This is me at home with a fabric ball I am 'altering'.

It snowed again, and Mum was fed up, but we went to the park anyway, and there was no one there.

Then Hodges turned up. He ate some snow.

That is about all that is going on around here lately.
Have a good weekend

love
from

Buster

ps If you hit Scout's name you can see her play.

  1. BIG--small. Fun inside, bad outside. Hodges has the right idea. If you can't join it, lick it.

  3. Hello Buster,

I think that we have now seen all the snow we are going to see, until maybe December.

Scout is fabulous, and that tiny puppy is pretty cute. Glad that Hodge came over through the snow to keep you company.

Tomorrow, you will probably see more flowers, and I bet that they will mostly be yellow.

Keep working on that yarn project.

    Best wishes.

  4. Hi Buster,

I bet if you stand between Scout and the small dog, it would be Do Re Mi in a row, big to small that is... looks like the weather has not caught up with your new spring look yet :)

  6. I like Scout. I like big girls. A lot! I want to marry one.
You are still the most handsomest dog we ever did see.
I think that you have had way too much snow in your life.

  8. Tell your mom that I'm fed up with the snow in Chicago too.

Spring has to be on its way soon. It has to!

  9. Scout definitely loves Buster. He's a good influence on her. Buster is brave. And she was fascinated by that little puppy, also.

Here are a couple of videos of Scout-- one learning tricks when she was a puppy, the other being used as a trampoline by another small dog at the park:

  10. Hi, Buster. Quite a nice photo of you on the park bench; plus, your tennis ball almost seems to float.

  11. How lovely that Scout found someone she was comfortable with, and a small dog at that. Goes to show that no matter what size or shape we are, we'll always find a friend.

Thanks for continuing to tell us about your life Buster (and Elizabeth of course), you always make my day :)

  13. Scout is a very gentle giant - that little puppy was very brave. Was that your dog park in Scout's video?
As always, thanks for sharing your life with us. You are the dog I can't have.

The photo of the puppy and Scout looking off in the distance is so very precious. And so are you, Buster.
