Pool Days

Charlotte in the water.

As you know, my friend Charlotte is queen of the pool. She loves swimmimg and drinking the water til she is full of it.

I do not like the big pool as much as Charlotte does. In fact, I want to get out.

I prefer the middle pool even if it makes me drool sometimes.

One day another dog got in my pool before me. So I looked at him.

Ruka swims in the big pool. I am impressed.

Now to some thoughts on tongues. They are all pink - except if you are a chow - which I am not, and there is not one at my park. This is Violet.

This is Enzo.

This is me at the fire hydrant when it was very very hot.

This is Morris in a photo from this morning.

I am sad my sister has gone back to England. This is a photo of her and me.

That is all for now. I hope you like the photos of us swimming.

love

ps an extra photo of me that Mum likes.

  1. It is nice for you and your pals to have pools, I suppose, I do not like them. I do not like baths much either. yesterday I got a haircut and a bath and some other stuff I do not like. You have a good city life and a good sister, she looks nice -i wag.

  2. Buster, you and your pals are so lucky to have those pools at the park. It was so hot last week, that just jumping into a cool pool was a great idea. How do you get into your favorite pool (when someone else isn't taking up all the pool?) Do you jump in, or just step in, leg by leg? Splashing can be fun!

I know that you must be missing your sister, but I bet that you had lots of fun while she was in New York.

I had fun having lunch with your mom today, and hope to see you soon.

    Best wishes.

Don't worry Buster, next year you will embrace that BIG pool and show it what for!

  6. Buster, you look very scared in the big pool. Is it because it is too deep to stand and too shallow to swim? You do know you can swim, don't you? Dogs invented swimming. We are masters of "The Paddle". People can sorta do something like it but they can only crawl whereas we paddle.

I like to swim in the really big pool at my auntie's house. My Mom throws the tennis ball and I go fetch it. I get it all to myself because my girlfriend Candy and my cousin, Robin, are scaredy cats and won't go in the pool. So I get to fetch all the balls that go in. I like to swim and I like to just stand on the steps and get my feet wet.

You are lucky to have a park with pools and lots of friends. I am afraid of the park and strange dogs.

    Love from Ramses.

  7. With 36 pools in Paris you'd think at least 1 of them would allow dogs in!? I would mind a bit and would in fact prefer it, especially if it was Buster and his pals...
Buster looks good either wet or dry. Amazing.
