A Bit of Snow and What They Make us Wear

As you can see, I am wearing my boots that are like balloons.

This is so I do not cry when 'ice-melt' chemicals get on my paws. My boots are blue.

Sid's are purple because he has got big feet.

This is him with snow on his nose.

Some people have coats, not boots.

Olive's coat is red.

This is Dee Dee's costume. Her dad said it was knitted by blind Peruvian nuns. I do not know if this is true.

Anyway, she had a nice time playing.

It was 12'F, but the sun came out.

If you look at the shadow on the wall, it looks like another dog looking left, but it is only my tail. That is called an illusion, I think.

This is me with a snow mustache.

I hope you are well and are having a good weekend.

love

  1. wuf king B,

glad you finally got some snow to play with! and sorry you have to wear boots. bossy woman says i should use them when it's muddy outside, but she must know that i'd chew them right up.

i think for today it might be colder over there that it is here. isn't it swell that you have proper attire for cold weather ;)

    have fun in the snow!

  2. Oh Buster, your mummy said you would have your blue balloon shoes on - you still look ridiculously handsome. It must have been good to get out even if it was horribly cold. The mustache suits you by the way :-)

  3. Dear Buster,
I think you look very good with a 'stache, but I am not sure about those blue things on your feet. Do they itch??? I wouldn't want chemicals on my paws tho, so I guess I can see how they would be useful. You and your pals seem to have a good time no matter what the humans make you wear! I've never worn a coat either but I think that's because I am mostly a collie and my own coat is so thick I could keep 4 of you warm, hahahaha. One thing I could use here in the Pacific Northwest is flippers...got any of those? geesh. It's always raining.

    Bye for now. luv, Isla

    1. Boots do not itch but are boring to put on.....
I do not have a coat either because I have a fur coat already......
Hope it stops raining by you soon.

  4. Buster, the first picture looks like your snappy blue boots really put a spring in your step! I don't have boots, I make my mum carry me to my grass. Then I run around like crazy in the snow. I hope you got to do some running around too! Love, Ozzy The Poodle in Penna.

  6. Buster old chap I am everso pleased that you own snow boots, you could get frost bite? over there without them! I think all the NYC dogs should have them. Yes? Non?
Many dogs in hot Australia were wearing Australia flag scarves - it was Australia day and dogs and people swam in the pools and had their airconditioners on HIGH. And all the dogs enjoyed a snag from the BBQ.
    Big pats Buster!

  7. I've got two pullovers. A green one and a brown and orange one. I have to wear one of them in the snow, because there is not much fur on my tummy. My Mum says this is because I'm still a baby. Do you think I could get some blue balloon boots when I'm grown up? Might suit me well... Hugs from Polly

  8. Buster, you and your pals seem to have been having fun, even if you were wearing more than you wished you were. Don't you all think that this was a silly little snow?

Do you remember back when you were almost still a puppy and NYC got a true snow storm, and the snow was almost as tall as you were then? That was fun!

I did not put my own boots on for this snow, but am glad that you were protecting your feet. I hope we get a real snow soon...I do know where my snow boots are when that time arrives.

As always, you are the most handsome amongst all your pals.

    Best wishes.

  9. You look very distinguished with your snow mustache! And I have a few sweaters from those same nuns, I think. :)

  10. Those blind Peruvian nuns have a lot to answer for...namely, the fashion sense of the American mid-west (where flower-appliqued acrylic sweaters are considered tres chic -- trust me, I've been there and seen for myself).

    LOVE those electric blue boots!
