Things Dogs Do: I am Philosophical and a Little Sad

*

Sometimes I wish for a life full of adventure and excitement.
In the olden days dogs had important things to do.

Nowadays some of us just hang around waiting for something to happen.
If I lived on a farm it would be different.

Me and Henry and Enzo would be looking after sheep and chasing chickens.

We would have rabbits to eat not just tennis balls.

Me and Knutty would be tearing a wildebeest apart not just a robe-tie.

But it was quite fun anyway.

I got it, and then I said Knut could go home, and he said he did not want it anyway.
Maybe tomorrow something more exciting will happen. I will let you know if it does.

Love

ps. I heard that someone said that "Imitation is the sincerest from of flattery." So I am very flattered that a young person helped her dog write a story just like me. It is good. You can read it here if you want.

  1. Hi Buster,

I wonder what toy poodles did in the olden days?

  2. Dear Buster,

In my eyes you are VERY important -- you are my best friend. You play with me, you act excited to see me every day (which makes me feel special), and you make your mom and dad very happy. I think these are important things indeed.

    Love,
    Knut

  4. Buster you make me smile every time you post and that is very important

I love the curl of Knutty's tail while he is not wanting the robe tie and getting ready to go home

  5. Buster, I am glad that you and your friends have these deeper thoughts.

I am also very glad that you and Knutty and declare a truce. And look forward to your next get together.

Watch out for the rain tomorrow.

    Best wishes
