Snow Day

Knutty is staying over at my house.

It snowed in the night so we went out in it in the morning.

This is what it looked like, except not blue.
I do not think the scooter will work today.

Then we went home and I stood on the chair and looked out of the window.

This dog is going for a walk down the middle of the road.

Some dogs like to dig in the snow.
Knutty does that.

This dog was walking along.

Then he was going home. I hope it is warm at your house and that you had a good holidays.  LOVE FROM BUSTER AND KNUT

I am jealous, Buster, because we barely have enough snow here to play in. When we have a lot, I get to go to work with my mum, but she took something called a 4 wheel drive and left me at home.... :-(

  4. WOW your town really got a dump truck full! Knutty might try his "invisible" powers- I think that I would not be able to see him. No snow here, just cold wind off the big water- still good for sniffing.

  6. Oh Buster! How lucky you are to have so much snow! We have had some here, which is a rarity for us, especially at Christmas! And oh, we are having fun. Edward completely disappears in the snow!

  7. Buster,

We have snow too. The deer were visiting this morning and I saw tracks from some of Fatty's relatives. You would like the deer; they are quiet and gentle. Fatty's relatives, however . . . Oh well, you know.

  8. Dear Buster,

What an incredible picture of the scooter! That's a lot of snow! Brrr.

When we woke up today, it was at least 15degreesC. We were all so cold and huddled under the blankie for ages. My human has her uggies back on again though it's summer.

Have a great day :) xox

  9. Dear Buster,

I miss you and Knutty very much. It would have been fun to play in the snow with you guys. I hope Knut is behaving and allowing you to sleep on your bed sometimes -- and I hope he is being good to Mom and Dad. Give kisses to everyone.

We are having fun here with your big sister...but I think she is mad at the snow, and the airplanes because I know she would have liked to see you and mom and dad.

  10. Hello Buster. Did you and Knutty hear the thunder last night during the blizzard? The first thunder really surprised me, but after that I was expecting the next one, and the ones after that.

This morning I went on the subway downtown to work. I had to walk on ice, and on squishy snow, and sometimes in very deep large footprints left by people who'd walked through the snow before me. And then...I had to step into snow with no ice or footprints, and my feet went down into soft snow, very deep snow and snow was up to my knees. It was cold.

I think that your head would have just appeared above this soft snow if you'd stepped into it.

    A big surprise!

It's very good to be indoors tonight!

  14. Oh,Buster!

Did you get to roll in the snow?

There is something wonderful about how the snow makes us all slow down. Everything is quiet, and we can walk down the middle of the street.

Hope you all made it through okay!
