Halloween by Count Bustula

This is the time of year when

you can find a severed hand in the pears

 birds swirl in the air

 the sky falls in puddles.

and I'm glad of a tough friend like Milan

when there are skeletons and chickens in windows

and on delis.

This is the time of year when

I might howl at the moon

be tempted up steps towards black doors

where people without meat on hang in windows.

Gosh! I hope you are not too scared!

So here is a picture of me and Charlotte from this morning

and a picture of Mona too.

This is me safe at home having a nap.

I hope you have a super duper

Water Fun and Other News

I hope the video of Maggy got uploaded. If you have time you can see it. She can swim under water.

This is her thinking of diving into the deep pool.

This is a lot of us round the deep pool. Maggy is on the right.

This is Charlotte in the pool.

Enzo can get rocks out of the little pool. I can only bat them with my paw because I do not like to put my face under water.

Did you know they had movies about bacon?

This is a dog that goes to Union Square on a bicycle.

My good friend Sid was at the park this morning. His profile is noble like mine.

This is an experiment in black and white but Baxter's head got chopped out of the picture.

That is all for now.

Fall is Coming

Because we live in Chelsea, I am sometimes made to go to art galleries.

Not very often though. Anyway this one was better than usual because it had pictures of Africa. This is a picture of a lion.

Something bad has happened to this lion. I am worried what it is.

In this picture a bird is on a stick in a dry place. Soon after this we left the gallery.

Then Knutty came over.

I expect you like to see pictures of dogs that I know. You have seen Mona before. She is very shy but she likes me.

This is her with blue speckles on her tongue. This is from the Hipstamatic filter. It is not a disease.

Can you guess who this is?

It is Donna that is a new puppy. This is her with Olive. They are friends.

Haha! Guess why we are sitting in a row.

I hope you have a good weekend.

Some Curious Things by Buster

There are some things I have noticed lately.

Baxter is one of the smallest dogs at the park. Massimo is very big.

Baxter is tougher than Massimo. I do not know why Massimo has weird stuff on his ears.

This is Enzo thinking about going fishing for a rock.

This is Charlotte outside the bagel shop. If you look at Izzy very carefully you will notice that her eyes are different. I do not know why that is because most people's eyes match.

Now, this is the most curious thing. One of these pictures is of me. The other three are of Beau. Mum took them yesterday.

These pictures  are two of Matty, one of Beau and one of me. Can you guess which are which? Today is the last day of summer.

I hope you are having fun and are looking forward to fall.

Banking and Other Things That Confuse Me

We went to the bank

which is down the road. I do not know much about banking.

I do not have any money.

I was trying very hard to understand what was going on.

You can tell that I am now getting a glazed look.

In fact, the thought of money makes my head spin.

Then we saw a picture of a dog that is very odd.

After that we went to the park and me and Enzo and Charlotte begged for bits of lamb lung from James and he gave us some.

Here is Enzo as per usual.

Here is him and Rigby that he likes.

Linda made Mum take a portrait of Biggie and Buddah.

This is me and Olive on the big rock. I am drooling.

So she told me to get down.

This is her on the rock by herself. Otherwise things are good around here and the weather is nice and I got a good new stick this morning.

This morning Knutty came over that we have not seen for a while. Here we are waiting for a treat. It was good to see him.

I hope you are well and having fun.
