An Education

I am leaning to read. This is a notice about me. It has a picture of me on it.

Dexter's mom  sent me a book about me in the mail.
It was published in 1934. The pictures look like me.
The artist's name is Ruth Carroll.

The dog is called Bounce but he is probably my olden-days cousin.

I have read the book a lot. I do not own any other ones.

Now I am very smart.

I hope you are well.

  1. that is a wonderful first book to own Buster
the illustrations are so lovely and they do look like you

it is also so good that your mum and dad teach you about the signs

you were always smart, now you're brilliant!

  2. Dear Buster,

I noticed that long ago, your book lived in the Ferndale Public Library. I live in a town called is a coincidence that makes me happy.
You do look a lot like Bounce!

    Dog licks,

  3. Now you're a very smart artist, Buster.

    Licks, hero

  4. Buster -

Good job with the reading lessons. You certainly are one smart pup and your Mom must be a wonderful teacher!

  5. Buster,

We'll have to see if we can find you something by Jack London. Reading only books about rabbits can be Hoppit-forming.

  6. Mr. Buster, my person read that book to me before she said "let's give this to Buster- this looks just like him" I said "ok" it is already chewed up in your fashion so I thought you might like it- The bunnies are very helpful. I can not read and I wee weed on a sign the other day that said "dogs OFF!" My person laughed and laughed but I still don't understand.Maybe you could write a book that I could understand...

  7. Oh Buster, you've always been smart, but now you're educated, too.

  8. Dear Buster,
Sounds you love books, like your Mom does. As always, love all your pictures, but in this post, love specially you on the cushion.
I hope you have a very fun weekend.
    Kisses and hugs!

  9. I would love to see one of drawing of natural view as I like those.

  10. You can read and you look like the illustration, lovely to be in a book. Good Job !
My family collects lots of photo's of signs from all over the world, that usually say No Dog allowed and they always have Scotties on them. I don't understand why I am a "NO" dog ? Scotties are good dogs.
    Cheers, Watson and Hamish

  11. Hi, Buster!
    Your book is pawesome!
I am sure it is very interesting!
    Kisses and hugs

  12. Oh Buster look at you reading your book! And you are right, he does look a lot like you. :o)

  13. Wow! That dog in the book does look like you. I am impressed that you are learning to read, next thing you know you will be doing math. You sure look handsome and distinguished in that last photo!

  14. See, you can teach an old dog...not that you are old, but you are old enough to know you should learn something new everyday...we always do when we visit your blog! And yes, Bounce looks like a relative, furr sure!
