Me on 5th Avenue and in the Dog Park

We were walking to Union Square when I saw stripes.

Then I saw a purple goat.
This is not a normal color for goats.

This is my suave, man-about-town look.

We went to the dog park at Union Square,
but some of the dogs were wild
and some hung out with their mums and dads.

A boy looked at me in the vegetable market.

Another one did on the way home.

In the afternoon, Mum and Dad took me to the regular dog park.
Me and my friend looked at the water for a long time.
It is very interesting.

Some big dogs went in the swimming pool.

The Doctor and More about Knut

I went to the doctor for my check-up. I am fine. I weight 29 lbs.
I licked the young man's ear.

Then I licked his hand to see if there were any dried liver treats left.

There was a little cat who needed a home.
My family do not need any more pets. They have me.

Mum said people looked after their animals even in history.
They looked in their mouths and washed their feet.

We met Knut and we played for a bit.
Then some girls came and said, "May we pet the puppy?"
"He is so cuuuuuuuute!"
They were not talking about me.

But I like Knut anyway.
When he is not a baby, we will play more.

Good Things

Whenever I go through the lobby, Michael and Luis talk to me.
Sometimes they give me treats too.

I cannot do this cool trick that one of my friends did.
My cousin Joba can do it. Maybe I will learn it.

I like to see the guys in doggy day care.
They are looking out of the window at me.
I have never had any "GROOMING" and "TRAINING".

I am dancing in a really, really big puddle.

This is a picture of a dog some children made.
It looks a lot like me. Dexter's mom Linda Sue sent it to my mom.
One day I will have my portrait painted.

The Creative Process and Me

Got up about 5:30 to work on my new installation.
It is called Stick/Box.

I can do it from my bed. The broom in the background is Mum's.
She is my clean-up assistant.

This is what it looks like now.

I have been working on this piece for some weeks.
It is called Wood and is more subtle than some of my work.

This is me waiting for Dad to finish making breakfast.
I like toast.
Then I will go back to bed.

Rats, Cats and Vans

This is a pretend rat.
He is very big and has ugly whiskers.

What would you think if you looked up at this?

This cat in the vet-down-the -road's window is
pretending to be peaceful.

When I looked at her sister, she flew at me.

This is a van with party supplies.
Dad sometimes calls me a "Dogopotomus".
Maybe one day I will have a party and invite people.

This van delivers my Science Diet to the shop across the road.
If it was all Science Diet it would last me about a billion years.

A Good Day

We went to see Mum's friend Frances.
Her friend gave me two cookies. I did not wreck the shop.
Then I saw a man sitting up very high. He did not move.

There were lots of green plants and stuff there.
And a dog park.

I met Moustache. She is the same age as me.

Then I met another puppy the same age as me.
All three of us ran and ran.

How can you be bored in a dog park?

Then we had a drink.

In the afternoon I had a drink at another place.
Mum thought the bowl was good so she took a picture of it.

More about Fatty and a New Guy

No, I do not have a thing about Fatty.
I just do not like it when people with beady eyes
sit in trees and make noises at me.
Would you?

I am making a hole by the community garden fence.

This is where they keep the flowers locked up so they do not
bite through wires when their parents are out.

This is Knut.
All the dog mums go: "OOOOOh! Isn't he cute!"

"Can I take a picture of Knut?"

Other people get bored when Knut is having his picture taken.

Luckily we met one of my friends on the way home.
We ran round and around for a bit.

When we got home I helped Michael clean up in front of the building.

I Get More and More IMPORTANT!

I got a parcel for the first time in my life.
It had my name on it.

Dad said, "It's just like Christmas!"
When it was Christmas I was four days old.
I do not remember it well.
This is Dad showing me my parcel.

This is what came out of my present!

It is a big round bed. It is speckled like me!

The label said Quality, Comfort and Style.
Look at me in my bed!

I am now in charge of security for our building.
I am checking the monitors. I will bite all the bad people.
Mum says if I get any more important I will be
insufferable.

The Latest

This is George. He is one of my friends.
When Mum and Dad go out, he takes me for a walk.
When I go out with Mum, we often meet George.
He gives me dried liver treats from his bag. Yum.

This is me relaxing  on the street.

This is a puppy I met. He looks a lot like me.
He wanted to be my friend.

This cat outside the florist did not want to be my friend.
She gave me a mean look.

Yesterday we went upstate and I played with Joba in the garden.
There was an angel hiding behind the butterfly bush.

When we got home I worked on my art installation.
It is called Ex-Box 5
